Do you store my location?
Unbrella stores saved locations, recent searches, and cached weather data on your device so the app, widgets, and watch features can work. We do not sell location data or keep a server-side location history for app use.
Is tracking required?
No. The app includes anonymous analytics by default today, but you can turn them off in settings. No account is required to use Unbrella.
Does Unbrella have ads?
No. Unbrella has no ads and no ad-targeting business model.
Does it work outside the US?

I decided to build Unbrella because I wanted a weather app that felt simple, fast, and functional without ads or extra clutter getting in the way.
That simplistic approach is carried through the entire app with straightforward pricing, a privacy-first stance with optional tracking, and a focus on the forecast first and foremost.
This site uses Umami and Google Analytics, and stores a banner-dismissal preference in your browser local storage. The app does not require browser cookies to work.
